Upgrading OS10 devices using Autoloader

If you need to upgrade your operating system (OS) and your BB10 device won't upgrade otherwise; or if your over-the-air upgrade failed, try this process.
This is also a good process IF you want a complete wipe and new OS installed to start with a like-factory fresh device.

If you are not experiencing device issues, and need to upgrade with a less-invasive OS install (you don't need a device wipe and don't want to overwrite your settings and data), use this method described here:  Upgrading BB10 OS Using Sachesi

• These directions apply to Classic, Passport, Leap, Z30, Z10, Z3, Q10 and Q5 models.
• This process will wipe your device, see the notes below in the instructions.

Check your Model Number at Settings > About > Model Number, and make sure you download the corresponding file below!

(you can use these directions with any OS version, I've only posted these releases linked above)

Remember, this process will totally wipe your device, so the backup is important.

1. Download the file above to a Windows PC. Extract it from the ZIP file if it is zipped. If it is a ".rar" file, you will need a WinRar unpacking app on your PC to extract the file.
2. Connect your BlackBerry to the PC. Using Link, do a backup* (see below) of your phone.
3. Locate the downloaded file and run the autoloader (double click on the EXE file) and a black DOS window appears indicating "Connecting to bootrom". The DOS window processes the install, and begins to load the OS. If you have a security passwored, you will be asked to enter it.
4. When the OS loading is complete, your Z10 will reboot. Disconnect from the PC, and the device will startup.
5. Optional but recommended: Wipe your device at your Settings > Security > Security Wipe. This can take 30 mins to an hour.
6. Go through the required device setup of connecting to WiFi, Agreements, enter your BlackBerryID, and Get Acquainted screens.
7. Reconnect to the PC and perform your restore using BlackBerry Link.
8. Now, you will need to re-enter account passwords for email, Twitter, Facebook, etc.

Backup Notes: When you backup using Link, you can make one total backup, or divide that backup into three different databases (Setup | Media | App Data). I always break that backup into the three different databases so that I can restore each separately because I have had some issues with a full restore failing in the App database restore, so then I can safely restore only Settings and Media.

Remember, this process does totally wipe your device, so the backup is important. Reserve about two hours time for the process... performing the backup and restore takes the longest part of the time and will vary according to the amount of data and apps on your BlackBerry.

Post Upgrade device lag, heat, fast battery discharge:  After any OS upgrade on a BB10 device, it will take 48-72 hours for the device data syncing of email, contacts, social apps, etc., to complete and finish. High data transfer after an upgrade cause high processor use, which in turn causes high battery usage, which in turn can cause higher than nornal heat from the device. Likewise, high processor use will cause some lag and initial slowness. Ignore and and be patient. It can take the 48 hours for all contacts to sync back to the device. Connect to a good WiFi source and relax. The battery will recover after a few days and you'll see normal battery usage again. Just don't drain your battery to 10% or less each time, top off the charge. You'll notice a difference after a couple days.

• Tunggu sampai masuk recovery pilih install file zip from sdcard (ex: R1001_Repartition_signed.zip)

ROOT DAN PARTISI OPPO FIND 7 X9076

Repartisi oppo Find 7 X9076 emang agak ribet dan perlu ketelitian resikonya hp Brick. Kalau ada yang mau coba silahkan tapi DWYOR ya.

Udah gw test dan fix. Partisi memori bawaan oppo find 7 X9076 32GB terbagi jadi 3 bagian, 5GB system, 3GB applikasi, sisanya buat penyimpanan internal.

setelah di repartisi bisa jadi seperti gambar di bawah..hehehe..maknyos.

Di gambar terlihat system masih 5Gb, dan yg berubah Memory untuk menginstall jadi 11,07 GB dan buat Penyimpanan internal(data) jadi 15GB.

Oke langsung saja siapkan bahanya.

• Oppo Find 7 x9076 tentunya....recom punya sendiri.
• Oppo Find 7 driver saat di hubungkan dengan komputer install aplikasi bawaannya (ini sdh termasuk driver fastbootnya).
• Adb driver. download disini proses installasi nanti dijelaskan.
• Micro sd untuk menyimpan aplikasi repartisinya.
• Aplikasi repartisi tentunya download    Custom_Storage_Partitions_v1_for_OPPO_FIND_7_(x9076).zip 
• Custom Recovery nya juga. TWRP openrecovery-twrp-2.8.4.0-find7.img
• Download Fastboot dan adb tools nya di sini 
• Pengetahuan dasar dos dan linux.

Saatnya exekusi..

• Extract file custom_storage_partition_v1 nanti ada external_sd.zip extract juga nanti ada 2 folder new_scripts dan persist_fix copy kedua folder tersebut ke micro sd. Jangan di copy kedalam folder.!
• Matikan HH, masuk ke mode fastboot dengan cara tekan volume atas dengan power sampai keluar tulisan fastboot....colokan HH ke komputer.
• Extract file Fastboot dan adb tools nya. Tekan shift + klik kanan dan plih open commend window here 
• Setelah muncul CMD ketik >dir enter untuk melihat apakah file fastboot.exe dan adb.exe tersedia. kalau ada bisa kita teruskan. Ketik fastboot devices
• Sekarang kita akan melakukan flashing recovery TWRP dengan cara ketik " fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.8.4.0-find7.img " 
• ketik "fastboot boot openrecovery-twrp-2.8.4.0-find7.img " untuk masuk recovery nya. tunggu beberapa saat untuk booting ke menu recovery TWRP.
• Setelah masuk pilih menu Mount kemudian lihat kotak sebelah kanan bawah bertuliskan Disable MTP ubah menjadi Enable MTP. pungsinya untuk mematikan mode mtp dan mengaktifkan ADB mode pada device.
• Kembali ke command prompt yang tadi sudah kita buka. sekarang kita akan melakukan repartisi menggunakan adb.exe
• Ketik adb devices untuk mendeteksi device ,. bila belum terdeteksi berarti driver belum terinstal sekarang install driver adb yang tadi sudah di download bahan no. 3
• Jika sudah terdeteksi ketik adb shell  <<fungsinya untuk meremote device lewat command prompt. setelah masuk
• Ketik > ls <untuk melihat list directory
• Ketik > cd external_sd/new_scripts <<file folder yg sdh kita copy tadi 
• Ketik > ls < untuk melihat isi directory (8_19.sh berarti 8GB buat instalasi aplikasi dan 19GB buat penyimpanan data) begitu seterusnya. 
• Ketik > sh XXX.sh 

• Proses sperti gambar diatas.
• Proses memakan waktu 10 mnt untuk punya saya. Mungkin bisa berbeda2 tergantung banyaknya data di HH.
• Bila ada tulisan done menandakan proses repartisi sudah selesai.

• Silahkan masuk ke menu reboot kemudian restart device. Kalau keluar menu mau install root sekalian apa tidak silahakn geser untuk root. kemudian restart
• Selamat HH sudah ter Partisi.

Install MT65XX Preloader USB VCom Drivers | MT65xx MediaTek USB VCOM Drivers | USB Driver MT65XX | USB VCOM Driver MT65xx

IA Phone – Mungkin inilah salah satu installasi driver yang gampang-gampang susah dan mungkin akan membuat beberapa diantara kita senang atau kecewa.Ya, salah datu installasi yang IA Phone maksudkan adalah “installasi driver Preloader atau USB Vcom MT65xx”.

Senangnya, jika ternyata proses installasi yang kita lakukan sesuai dengan tahapan yang “seharusnya” sejak dari awal, sehingga driver terinstall dengan benar tanpa kendala yang berarti.

Bagian yang membuat kecewa adalah apabila driver tidak terinstall dengan semestinya. Walaupun sudah dibolak-balik, disambungkan ke port USB manapun, smartphone dengan processor buatan mediatek ini, tidak berhasil juga terinstall.

Driver dan Aplikasi yang Dibutuhkan:

Mengapa ada diantara kita yang akan kecewa dan senang? Mungkin hal ini disebabkan bahwa installasi MT65XX Preloader USB VCom Drivers | MT65xx MediaTek USB VCOM Drivers  | USB Driver MT65XX |  USB VCOM Driver MT65xx atau apapun kata kunci di mesin telusur google terkait VCOM, Preloader, Preloader USB VCOM, MediaTek Preloader USB VCOM, MediaTek DA USB VCOM, Mediatek Preloader USB VCOM, dan lain sebagainya, merupakan jembatan yang harus dilalui oleh kita agar bisa melakukan flashing pada smartphone atau tablet android.

Dan flashing yang dilakukan tersebut sebagian besarnya adalah hal penting karena merupakan jalan untuk menormalkan kembali smartphone atau tablet android yang mengalami bootloop. Karena jika kita berhasil melakukan flashing, maka pundi-pundi rupiah pun akan mengalir. Jika ponsel tersebut milik kita, imbalannya adalah ilmu yang bertambah dan mengurangi dana yang tidak terduga untuk ponsel.

Baiklah, kita cukupkan basa-basinya. Selanjutnya kita akan mencoba menguraikan bagaimanakah cara memasangkan atau installasi usb driver vcom atau preloader tersebut di atas?

Catatan IA Phone :
Semua driver yang dibutuhkan bisa didapatkan diakhir tulisan ini. Driver tersebut merupakan kumpulan driver yang terkait erat dengan smartphone dan tablet android, khususnya ponsel dengan processor buatan MediaTek dengan nama-nama MT6571, MT6572, MT6575, MT6577, MT6589 dan lain-lain. Driver tersebut bisa digunakan pada Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 dan 8.1.

 Installasi MediaTek / MT65XX Preloader USB VCOM driver ini terkait erat dengan proses selanjutnya (atau bisa juga bersamaan), yaitu flashing gadget android yang processornya disuplai oleh MediaTek. Jadi, tulisan ini juga bisa dijadikan rujukan bagaimana cara flashing yang baik, untuk semua merek dan tipe android, baik ponsel (smartphone) maupun tablet.

Install Mediatek / MT65XX Preloader USB VCOM yang Dianjurkan Tuk Windows XP, 7, 8 dan 8.1

Inilah keseluruhan proses yang penulis anjurkan terkait cara installasi usb preloader atau vcom driver. Cara ini kemungkinan besar akan berhasil dengan syarat, cara dan ketentuan sebagai berikut:

1.    Jangan dulu menyambungkan ponsel ke port usb komputer atau laptop.

2.    Instalkan USB Preloader atau VCOM driver yang telah Anda unduh sebagaimana kita menginstallakan driver pada umumnya. Khusus untuk Windows 7, 8, dan 8.1, dijalankan dengan RUN AS ADMINITRATOR. Jika ada notifikasi terkait kompatibilitas driver pada Windows, apakah akan diinstal atau tidak, HAJAR saja Gan. Pilih Install Driver Anyway. Lakukan sampai benar-benar tidak ada lagi notifikasi kompatibilitas.

3.    Installkan hanya driver USB VCOM saja dari banyak paket yang penulis sediakan.

4.    Setelah selesai installasinya, jangan dulu menyambungkan ponsel ke port usb. RESTART komputer atau laptop.

5.    Disaat komputer atau laptopnya menyala kembali, barulah kita membuka SPF Tool, menyiapkan file firmware yang benar-benar cocok dengan gadget android kita, klik flashing/upgdare/download BARULAH PONSEL DISAMBUNGKAN dalam kondisi TIDAK DINYALAKAN (untuk hal ini kadang tidak sama antara gadget satu dengan lainnya, perlu informasi tambahan untuk masing-masing merek, tipe dan seri).

6.    Percayalah, ini akan berhasil baik. Windows akan menginstall driver dengan sendirinya, SPF Tool akan mengenali ponsel atau tablet kita dan proses flashing pun akan berjalan sebagaimana yang kita harapkan.

Faktor Penyebab Gagalnya Installasi Mediatek / MT65XX Preloader USB VCOM dan Solusi yang Mungkin

Sebelum melanjutkan, kita perlu rehat dulu sebentar. Telpon atau SMS lah pelanggan Anda bahwa ponsel atau tabletnya belum berhasil diflash. Mereka akan dengan senang hati menunggu kabar keberhasilan dari Anda.

Ponsel atau tablet dengan nama/seri processor MT65XX (XX di sini bisa angka berapa saja, yang nomor standarnya telah ditentukan oleh pihak MediaTek), apapun merek dan serinya, jika USB VCOM dan Preloadernya tidak terintall dengan baik, maka hal itu akan menyulitkan kita melakukan flashing terhadapnya.

Tidak terinstallanya usb driver tersebut bisa disebabkan oleh banyak faktor. Inilah beberapa hal yang “diduga” menjadi penyebab tidak terinstallnya driver dengan baik, dan solusi yang mungkin untuk mengatasinya:

1.    Port usb yang kurang bagus atau tidak stabil. Solusi: pilih port usb yang bagus dan stabil.

2.    Kabel data usb yang sudah error. Solusi ganti kabel data usb.

3.    Proses atau langkah installasi driver yang salah. Solusi, hapus driver sampai bersih, restart komputer/laptop dan jangan dulu menyambungkan ponsel atau tablet setelah penghapusan driver.

4.    Adanya penumpukkan driver yang tidak sesuai. Solusi: sama dengan nomor 3.

5.    Dan lain-lain yang gejala penyakirnya dilihat dari sisi software (driver). Solusi: Sama dengan nomor 3

Proses Installasi Mediatek / MT65XX Preloader USB VCOM Yang Sebelumnya Gagal

1.    Hapus semua driver usb yang terkait dengan Preloader dan USB Vcom langsung di:

My Compter – Manage – Device Manager – Ports:

a.       MediaTek DA USB VCOM Port

b.      MediaTek PreLoader USB VCOM Port

c.       Dan lain-lain terkait MT65xx

2.    Hapus semua driver usb (Vcom dan PreLoader atau yang mirip) yang tersisa menggunakan aplikasi atau tool UBS Deview (link unduhan di bagian akhir tulisan)

3.    Setelah Anda yakin semua driver usb tersebut telah dihapus, restart terlabih dahulu komputer atau laptop Anda.

4.    Kemudian, pada saat komputer/laptop telah menyala kembali, install-kan driver berikut ini melalui file dengan extention .exe (tipe filenya: application). Install sebagaimana kita menginstal aplikasi/driver melalui file setup:

a.       1. Drivers MT65xx  PreLoader dan Vcom

b.      2. Feature Phone Driver v1.1032.1

c.       3. New Installer Win 7_8_x32_x64

d.      4. Smart Phone Driver x86_x64

e.       Universal Android USB Driver

Di luar driver tersebut di atas, tidak perlu diinstalkan. Biarkan saja, walaupun ada di dalam paket unduhan.

5.    Jika semua driver di atas telah diinstalkan, restart kembali komputer/laptop.

6.    Ketika menyala kembali, ponsel atau tablet jangan langsung disambungkan ke komputer/laptop.

7.    Bukalah aplikasi atau tool untuk flashing, misalnya dalam tulisan ini  SP Flash Tool v3.1316.0.150. Pilih file scatter-loadin-nya sesuai firmware masing-masing, klik Firmware -> Upgrade, sambungkan ponsel ke port usb, biarkan driver terintsall, biarkan aplikasi bekerja. Sampai selesai.

8.    Percayalah, ini telah berhasil kami lakukan untuk beberapa ponsel dan tablet android yang kami jadikan eksperimen.
